Here are some things I've done with children I've babysat for. I love interacting and engaging with children. I always go with what they are interested in, with safety taken into account, of course. Some activities are neat, and some can get a little messy; it's part of the fun! The children and I clean up right after.

Using gimp string and an assortment of beads


Materials used: Elmer's white glue, Borax (find in the laundry detergent aisle of the store), Water, Two bowls, and Food coloring (optional). 1. In one bowl mix 1/2 cup (4 oz) glue and 1/2 cup water. Add food coloring if you want colored slime. 2. In the other bowl, mix 1 teaspoon borax with 1 cup water until the borax is dissolved. 3.Add the glue mixture to the borax solution, stirring slowly. 4.The slime will begin to form immediately; stir as much as you can, then dig in and knead it

Materials used: Nylon stockings, sand (to put in the stockings, paper plates (for the paint), washing paint, and white poster board. Fill a nylon stocking with sand to create a 4' ball then tie a knot 2 inches away from where the ball is, leaving excess nylon to grip on to. Create nylon balls per color used Using paper plate, put desired paint color on individual plates.

Hung out with the Scalise crew and made popcorn and hot chocolate, with the kids help of course

Babysat for a friend so she could enjoy a night out for her birthday. Helped her son practice his counting skills by having him count this cars
