I have experience with:

        Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder:
ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Symptoms of ADHD include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (overabundance of movement that is not fitting to the setting), and impulsivity (quick acts that happen in the moment without thought).

       Oppositional Defiant Disorder:
ODD is a behavior disorder, usually diagnosed in childhood, that is characterized by uncooperative, defiant, rebellious, and irritable behavior toward parents, peers, teachers, and other authority figures. Children and adolescents with ODD are more upsetting or troubling to others than they are distraught or troubled themselves.

       Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD):
ASD is a multifaceted developmental disorder that can cause problems with thinking, feeling, language, and the ability to relate to others

       Trauma-informed Care (TIC):
Trauma-informed care is based on an understanding of and responsiveness to the impact of trauma. It emphasizes physical, psychological, and emotional safety for those who are providing services and for survivors. It produces opportunities for survivors to re-establish a sense of control and empowerment.

         De-escalation:
To decrease the intensity of a situation. If a person is agitated or has an intent to be violent, I can work with the person to decrease their level of agitation.

Panic Attacks:
Sudden episodes of intense fear and physical sensations, often occurring without warning.
